The composer Lorenzo Tessino (Il maggiore) was born in Milano on the 20th December 1778, the same year of the composers Barbosa de Araújo, Caffi, Cranach, Gianella, Hummel, Kanne, Kemp, Neukomm, Pacini, Pucitta, Romani, Rungenhagen, Sor. He died in Civitavecchia (Roma) in 1861
