The musician Eduard Tauwitz was born in Glatz on the 21 Jenuary 1812, the same year of the composers Dahmen, Dannström (Johan) Isidor, Grädener, Hebenstreit, Hullah, Jullien, Kazynski, Klitsch, Krug, Peri, Thalberg. He died in Praga on the 25th July 1894
