The musician Józef Zygmunt (Joseph Sigismond) Szulc, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Varsavia on the 4th April 1875, the same year of the composers Agostini, Alfano, Coleridge-Taylor, Courvoisier, Darzins, Eisler, Fano, Février, Glier, Horák, Huszka, Ketèlbey, Kreisler, Labey, Mariotte, Melartin, Montemezzi, Nouguès, Ollone, Pacchierotti, Panizza, Ravel, Riccitelli, Rootham, Rubens, Rôze, Scheinpflug, Shaw, Tovey, Valverde Sanjuán. Died in Parigi on the 10th April 1956
