Jean (Johan) (Julius Christian) Sibelius was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Hämeenlinna on the 8th December 1865, the same year of the composers Boeck, De Boeck, Drake, Dukas, Dupin, Gilson, Jaques-Dalcroze, Loomis, Luders, Ludwig, Luporini, Magnard, Miles, Morera, Nielsen, Olenin, Orefice, Reinhardt, Spinelli, Szopski, Tofft. He died in Järvenpää on the 20th September 1957
