Giuseppe Scolari, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Vicenza in 1720, the same year of the composers Agnesi, Agricola, Bury, Campioni, Clément, Cocchi, Corbisiero, Meyer von Schauensee, Schmid, Schürer, Valentini. He died in Lisbona in 1774
