The composer Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Berlino on the 5th May 1900, the same year of the composers Aav, Antheil, Barraud, Berezowsky, Bernard, Blum, Burkhard, Bush, Copland, Dunayevsky, Ermatinger, Ferroud, Godron, Halffter (Escriche), Haug, Head, Ikonomov, Krenek, Mosolov, Oboussier, Pimsleur, Raymond, Reutter, Salmhofer, Shekhter, Taktakishvili. Died in Holm-Holstein (Hamburg) on the 28th May 1973
