The composer Piotr Rytel, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Vilnius on the 20th September 1884, the same year of the composers Benatzky, Boero, Boulnois, David, Ferrari-Trecate, Gruenberg, Koczalski, Lambert, Launis, Liuzzi, Meulemans, Piskácek, Rangström, Rózycki, Toni, Ugarte. He died in Varsavia on the second Jenuary 1970
