The musician François Léonard Rouwyzer (Rouwizer), author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Maastricht on the second July 1737, the same year of the composers Beckmann, Crispi, Esser, Giroust, Haydn, Hopkinson, Kimmerling, Manfredini, Millico, Myslivecek, Petrucci, Schwindl.
