The composer August Röckel was born in Graz on the first December 1814, the same year of the composers Alary, Denefve, Döhler, Gabrielli, Gille, Hentschel, Kolberg, Lillo, Limnander de Nieuwenhove, Mosonyi, Salaman, Schäffer. Died in Budapest on the 18th June 1876
