The composer Prince Maciej Radziwell, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Szydlowiec in 1751, the same year of the composers Birnbach, Bortnyansky, Kauer, Laserna, Lasser, Lemoyne, Salari, Schikaneder, Schröter, Stegmann. He died in Nieswicz in 1800
