Francesco (Franz) (Giuseppe) Pollini, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Ljubljana on the 25th March 1762, the same year of the composers Agthe, Haibel, Kelly, Momigny, Nicolini, Parke, Portugal, Sogner, Storace. He died in Milano on the 17th September 1846
