Vincent (Ludwig) Persichetti was born in Philadelphia on the 6th June 1915, the same year of the composers Catunda, Cockshott, Cumbersworth, Ehrlich, Gallois-Montbrun, Hanus, Kilpatrick, Kondorossy, Kovách, Landowski, Lee, Legley, Nystedt, Pajaro, Quinet, Richter, Sagaev, Searle, Surinach, Toda, Vallerand, Van de Woestijne. He died in Philadelphia on the 13rd August 1987
