The musician Guillaume-Alexis (Alexandre) Parigi, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Liège in 1756, the same year of the composers Ahlstrom (Åhlström), Boutmy, Gehot, Horzizky, Kraus, Kunz, Lacépède, Linley, Mozart, Reinagle, Righini, Schmiedt, Teyber. He died in San Pietroburgo on the 30th Jenuary 1840
