Jaime Pahissa was born in Barcellona on the 7th October 1880, the same year of the composers Ascher, Bainton, Barilli, Bleyle, Bloch, Casimiri, Charpentier, Delcroix, Guarnieri, Inghelbrecht, Istel, Karel, La Rotella, Luna y Carné, Pizzetti, Pratella, Randegger, Rogatis, Stolz, Szirmai, Uribe Holguín. He died in Buenos Aires on the 27th October 1969
