Hall (Franklin) Overton was born in Bangor on the 23th February 1920, the same year of the composers Arutiunian, Bush, Chailly, Des Marais, Fetler, Goodman, Jirásek, Khachaturian, Kim, Kont, Krol, La Montaine, Lundquist, Maderna, Marinuzzi, Maturana, Mennini, Milveden, Nilsson, Schibler, Tosatti, Turner, Valls (Gorina). He died in New York on the 24th November 1972
