The composer Siegfried Ochs was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Francoforte sul Meno on the 19th April 1858, the same year of the composers Barkworth, Berson, Chapuis, De Lara, Elling, Erb, Fauchey, Ferroni, Hubay, Huë, Kazachenko, Klein, Krug, Lambert, Landini, Löhse, Major, Maunder, Mugnone, Müller-Reuter, Nicolau, Puccini, Shelley, Smyth, Tirindelli, Trnecek. He died in Berlino on the 5th February 1929
