The composer Franz Christoph Neubauer (Neubaur), author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Melnik on the 21 March 1750, the same year of the composers Amendola, Calegari, Hanke, Just, Kürzinger, Lanza, Lessel, Majer, Monti, Mortellari, Prati, Rosetti, Salieri, Schilson, Stabinger, Sterkel, Türk, Vancura. He died in Bückeburg on the 11th October 1795
