Alexander (Vasilievich) Mosolov was born in Kiev on the 11th August 1900, the same year of the composers Aav, Antheil, Barraud, Berezowsky, Bernard, Blum, Burkhard, Bush, Copland, Dunayevsky, Ermatinger, Ferroud, Godron, Halffter (Escriche), Haug, Head, Ikonomov, Krenek, Oboussier, Pimsleur, Raymond, Reutter, Salmhofer, Schmidt-Isserstedt, Shekhter, Taktakishvili. He died in Mosca on the 12nd July 1973
