The musician Emanuil Manolov was born in Gabrovo on the 7th Jenuary 1860, the same year of the composers Akerberg (Åkerberg), Albeniz (Albéniz), Charpentier, Eymieu, Hansen, Hillemacher, Liepe, Loewengard, Mahler, Marty, Paderewski, Reznicek, Rietsch (Löwy), Robyn, Statkowski, Tonning.
