The composer Lucien-Denis-Gabriel-Albéric Magnard was born in Parigi on the 9th June 1865, the same year of the composers Boeck, De Boeck, Drake, Dukas, Dupin, Gilson, Jaques-Dalcroze, Loomis, Luders, Ludwig, Luporini, Miles, Morera, Nielsen, Olenin, Orefice, Reinhardt, Sibelius, Spinelli, Szopski, Tofft. He died in Baron (Oise) on the third September 1914
