The musician Joseph Lauber was born in Ruswil on the 27th December 1864, the same year of the composers Albert, Azkué, Bachelet, Beer-Walbrunn, Berwald, Borgström, Browne, Castro Herrera, Goepp, Grechaninov, Körling, Leoni, Nepomuceno, Othegraven, Procházka, Ropartz, Rottenberg, Strauss.
