Théodore Lajarte

(1826-1890)

The composer Théodore (Édouard Dufaure de) Lajarte, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Bordeaux on the 10th July 1826, the same year of the composers Adalid y Gurréa, Berens, Bott, Cortesi, Hallström, Hauser, Hiles, Holstein, Kashperov, Quarenghi, Stadtfeld, Studzinski. He died in Parigi on the 20th June 1890
