The composer Bernard Germain Etienne Médard de la Ville-sur-Illon, Comte de Lacépède was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Agen on the 26th December 1756, the same year of the composers Ahlstrom (Åhlström), Boutmy, Gehot, Horzizky, Kraus, Kunz, Linley, Mozart, Parigi, Reinagle, Righini, Schmiedt, Teyber. He died in Epinay-sur-Seine on the 6th October 1825
