The composer Theodore Karyotakis was born in Argos on the 21 July 1903, the same year of the composers Arrieu, Azmayparashvili, Berkeley, Blacher, Blanter, Bogdanov-Berezovsky, Britain, Douglas, Duke, Giannini, Goldschmidt, Kadosa, Lavry, Lopatnikov, Meytus, Milford, Milyutin, Nabokov. He died in Athinai on the 14th June 1978
