The musician Ivan Jirko was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Praga on the 7th October 1926, the same year of the composers Abbado, Arizaga, Bortolotti, Burt, Carr, Castérède, Cerha, Christou, Falabella (Correa), Feldman, Gaburo, Gravitis, Henze, Hoiby, Holm, Horovitz, Johnston, Koerppen, Kupferman, Leeuw, Ludewig, Luke, Martins, Murray, Oldham, Prigozhin. He died in Praga on the 20th August 1978
