The composer Frederick Jacobi was born in San Francisco on the 4th May 1891, the same year of the composers Bliss, Casavola, Dzegelyonok, Gallon, Golovanov, Jirák, Johnson, Kardos, Kasianov, Krejcí, Kunz, Kálik, Migot, Moreno Torroba, Palma, Pannain, Pinto, Porter, Prokofiev, Raitio, Ravasenga, Spelman, Sternberg. Died in New York on the 24th October 1952
