The musician Jean-Louis Aristide Hignard, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Nantes on the 20th May 1822, the same year of the composers Arditi, Barbieri, Clément, Gautier, Gaztambide y Garbayo, Gregoir, Hauser, Hernando y Palomar, Leslie, Litta, Lutz, Massé, Raff, Reinthaler. Died in Vernon on the 20th March 1898
