The musician Emil (Wilhelm Emilius Zinn) Hartmann, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Copenaghen on the 21 February 1836, the same year of the composers Balakiriev, David, Delibes, Farmer, Gomes, Götze, Hopkins, Langert, Malling, Mesquita, Pearce. He died in Copenaghen on the 18th July 1898
