The composer Felipe Gutiérrez (y) Espinosa was born in San Juan on the 26th May 1825, the same year of the composers Bristow, Doppler, Gabriel, Gollmick, Hol, Horn, Loder, Lucantoni, Marpurg, Nibelle, Ortega del Villar, Oudrid y Segura, Ouseley, Reissmann, Rongé, Strauss. He died in San Juan on the 27th November 1899
