Karl (Wilhelm Ferdinand) Guhr

(1787-1848)

Karl (Wilhelm Ferdinand) Guhr, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Militsch on the 30th October 1787, the same year of the composers Alyabyev, Berwald, Brambilla, Böhner, Carafa, Gilfert. He died in Francoforte sul Meno on the 22nd July 1848
