The musician Jean-Jacques Grunenwald was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Cran-Gevier on the second February 1911, the same year of the composers Alain, Bartolozzi, Bergman, Burkhard, Cikker, Gershfeld, Hercigonja, Herrmann, Hovhaness, Kiesewetter, Koetsier, Menotti, Mul, Napoli, Ocenas, Reizenstein, Rota, Schultze, Shimizu, Smith, Tate. He died in Parigi on the 19th December 1982
