The composer Nikolay (Semyonovich) Golovanov, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Mosca on the 21 Jenuary 1891, the same year of the composers Bliss, Casavola, Dzegelyonok, Gallon, Jacobi, Jirák, Johnson, Kardos, Kasianov, Krejcí, Kunz, Kálik, Migot, Moreno Torroba, Palma, Pannain, Pinto, Porter, Prokofiev, Raitio, Ravasenga, Spelman, Sternberg. He died in Mosca on the 28th August 1953
