William Howard Glover, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Londra on the 6th June 1819, the same year of the composers Abt, Biaggi, Campana, De Giosa, Deffés, Gouvy, Henrion, Hopp, Liebe, Mazzolani, Miladowski, Moniuszko, Oberthür, Offenbach, Puig, Suppé. He died in New York on the 28th October 1875
