Paul Geisler, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Slupsk on the 10th August 1856, the same year of the composers Aspestrand, Bird, Dupuis, Gabriel, Gall, Gédalge, Kastalski, Macbeth, Mottl, Schütt, Sinding, Taneyev. He died in Poznan on the third April 1919
