The musician Niels (Wilhelm) Gade, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Copenaghen on the 22nd February 1817, the same year of the composers Agnelli, Deldevez, Duggan, German Reed, Gregoir, Katski, Kreutzer, Kuntze, Lefébure-Wély, Mabellini, Maillart, Pedrotti, Robson, Soriano Fuertes y Piqueras, Thern, Tiehsen. He died in Copenaghen on the 21 December 1890
