Henry Eymieu, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Saillans on the 7th May 1860, the same year of the composers Akerberg (Åkerberg), Albeniz (Albéniz), Charpentier, Hansen, Hillemacher, Liepe, Loewengard, Mahler, Manolov, Marty, Paderewski, Reznicek, Rietsch (Löwy), Robyn, Statkowski, Tonning. Died in Parigi on the 21 March 1931
