The composer Heinrich Carl Ebell was born in Neuruppin on the 30th December 1775, the same year of the composers André, Boïeldieu, Cavos, Crusell, Dumonchau, Eberwein, García, Isouard, Mosca, Radicati, Ruzitska. He died in Opole on the 12nd March 1824
