The musician Victor-Alphonse Duvernoy, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Parigi on the 30th August 1842, the same year of the composers Arienzo, Boïto, Caldicott, Czibulka, Dall'Argine, Eeden, Erkel, Hofmann, Hrimalý, Lavallée, Lysenko, Malashkin, Maréchal, Massenet, Mihalovich, Millöcker, Nesvera, Sullivan. He died in Parigi on the 7th March 1907
