The composer Johann Chrysostom Drexel was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Diessen/Epfenhausen on the 24th Jenuary 1758, the same year of the composers Bianchi, Blasius, Moreira, Porta, Ruprecht, Schack, Vandenbroek. He died in Augsburg on the 8th February 1801
