The composer Walter (Johannes) Damrosch was born in Wroclaw on the 30th Jenuary 1862, the same year of the composers Balanchivadze, Behm, Berutti, Debussy, Delius, Emmanuel, Ganne, Greef, Harriss, Jones, Klose, Koch, Kovarovic, Lavrangas, Leborne, Marshall-Hall, Maurice, O'Dwyer, Pizzi, Reiter, Vanzo. He died in New York on the 22nd December 1950
