The musician Horace Coignet, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Lione on the 13rd May 1735, the same year of the composers Alexandre, Bach, Baillou, Berg, La Houssaye, Monza, Orgitano, Raimondi, Röllig, Schobert, Schweitzer, Silva, Tenducci, Toeschi. He died in Lione on the 29th August 1821
