Hippolyte-André-Jean-Baptiste Chelard (Chélard) was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Parigi on the first February 1789, the same year of the composers Bochsa, Carnicer y Batile, Damse, Fesca, Maurer, Passy, Ruzitska, Rózsavölgyi. He died in Weimar on the 12nd February 1861
