The composer Karl Joseph Birnbach, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Köpernick in 1751, the same year of the composers Bortnyansky, Kauer, Laserna, Lasser, Lemoyne, Radziwell, Salari, Schikaneder, Schröter, Stegmann. He died in Varsavia on the 29th May 1805
