The musician Seweryn Berson was born in Nowy Sacz in 1858, the same year of the composers Barkworth, Chapuis, De Lara, Elling, Erb, Fauchey, Ferroni, Hubay, Huë, Kazachenko, Klein, Krug, Lambert, Landini, Löhse, Major, Maunder, Mugnone, Müller-Reuter, Nicolau, Ochs, Puccini, Shelley, Smyth, Tirindelli, Trnecek. Died in Lvov on the 4th March 1917
