Edgar (Leslie) Bainton was born in Londra on the 14th February 1880, the same year of the composers Ascher, Barilli, Bleyle, Bloch, Casimiri, Charpentier, Delcroix, Guarnieri, Inghelbrecht, Istel, Karel, La Rotella, Luna y Carné, Pahissa, Pizzetti, Pratella, Randegger, Rogatis, Stolz, Szirmai, Uribe Holguín. He died in Sydney on the 8th December 1956
