The composer (Pamphile Léopold) François Aimon was born in L'Isle on the 4th October 1779, the same year of the composers Aiblinger, Benincori, Campenhout, Darondeau, Garaudé, Haeser, Häser, Lanza, Moore, Pavesi, Piccinni, Roser, Röth, Schiedermayer, Schmidt, Schuster. He died in Parigi on the second February 1866
