The composer Salvatore Agnelli (Agnello) was born in Palermo in 1817, the same year of the composers Deldevez, Duggan, Gade, German Reed, Gregoir, Katski, Kreutzer, Kuntze, Lefébure-Wély, Mabellini, Maillart, Pedrotti, Robson, Soriano Fuertes y Piqueras, Thern, Tiehsen. Died in Marsiglia in 1874
